Lovely splashbacks - a recommended company to deal with...
I placed an order for a 60cmx70cm glass hob splashback via Amazon and this seller was great. They responded quickly to my two emails and gave me a clear indication on when the item would be sent. I ordered it on 5 August and received it by courier to the door on 17 August, which was within the timeframe promised. The description had said kerbside delivery only, which can tricky here due to there being no easy parking nearby but I figured that I could manage the weight of this item. However I was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to my door with no hassle. The splashback arrived very well packaged, with padding around all of the edges of the glass and inside sturdy cardboard. I'm really pleased with the item as it looks good and will be a focal point in my new kitchen. I'd definitely recommend this company for hob glass splashbacks.

Excellent service and quality of product. Ordered bespoke toughened glass for a garden windbreak. Glass was made to order for a very competitive price and communication throughout was excellent. Took a while to arrive although to be fair this is dependent on the delivery van schedule so no complaints. Project went together well and very pleased with quality of the glass supplied and customer service overall.

Online purchase 4mm toughened glass for greenhouse. Although slightly dubious about ordering from a company I’ve never heard of and not local (300mile away) I’m so glad I took the plunge. A great customer service from Helen and the team from start to finish, clearly there was nothing for me to worry about. Their website is easy to use and made ordering online a doddle and for those shapes they don’t have on their website a quick email and rough diagram sorted any issues there. All glass arrived on time well packed and with no breakages. It’s a company I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and I’d definitely recommend it to others who need quality glass cut to size.

We just completed an International order with ETL from Nigeria, our client Behere Nigeria an upscale Botique Hotel in Abuja required Starfire toughed glass not available locally for it's bathroom enclosure, so we contacted express toughening and right from the get go ETL Sean Aston, System Processing Director, was very helpful with every single detail, and information we needed and also help provided clarity on the wall brackets we required. Even with Covid-19 impacting on lead times and delivery for business this season. Priced up what I needed and these guys came in £1000 cheaper than my nearest glass supplier. Was a little worried by buying online, but recieved my quote from Sean and he was very helpful when o wanted to check my measurements etc. He kept me fully informed and managed to get my delivery to me very prompt. The delivery driver was very accommodating and helpful and I since learnt he was the owner of the company who still liked to get out and about. Saving a £1000 was a no brainer, I would not hesitate to recommend this company, at least give them the opportunity to price your job. First panel in with no hassle and then rain stopped play.

I have used Express Toughening twice. The first time was incredibly impressive because having waited in vain for a quote from a local French company I gave up and went online and found Express Toughening, who sent me a quote within 24 hours! Thank you Michael Heady. The shapes were quite complicated. This first, large delivery to France arrived perfectly intact, very securely strapped to a pallet. The second order had a glitch somewhere in its planned delivery, and it looked as though it would miss my departure to France. However, an amazing lady by the name of Helen Doherty stepped in and sorted it out. She really went the extra mile, and it is now loaded just in time for me to catch the ferry. I’ve used Express Toughening twice now and have been very impressed with the glass they have supplied and also the helpfulness of the staff. The first job was a couple of years ago when they supplied me with a 6mm satin frosted toughened glass door for our shower room. From my measurements they supplied a fabulous door which had the hinge and lock holes cut out and also took into account the out of square measurement of the door frame. It fitted a treat and is stunning to look at. More recently (late last year) they supplied me with painted toughened glass splash backs (7 items altogether in 6mm glass with the biggest being 2.1 metres long), all cut to my sizes and with numerous switch and socket cut-outs. My local glass supplier said they could not cut out the close together sockets and switches, but Express did and got it spot on! As with the glass door, the splash backs were delivered to me by Expresses’ own transport and without any problems and quality issues. After the scary bit of fitting them all the result is faultless and stunning. Thanks go to Alex who helped me with the ordering process and technical aspects of glass splash backs.

I was looking around online and was receiving some real high quotes with a delivery time of between 6-8weeks. I called toughened glass and spoke to Sean, he was more than helpful and regardless of the emails and calls i made, he would always accomodate me. The quote i received was half the price of quotes i was receiving online, on top of that, i received my glass within 4 working days of placing my order. Within 5 days of my order having been placed, my glass is in place, perfectly cut and polished. I will definately be recommending this company to anybody that asks. It is refreshing to have dealt with a company that has its customers interests at its core and Sean is an asset to th e company. Am unable to recommend this company highly enough. I just wanted to write review about the service and products that was supplied by Express Toughening. They gave me great advise which saved me money rather than telling me about more expensive products that would have had the same effect. The delivery was quick and the fitters they recommended were excellent. A special mention about Adam Curtis who 'held my hand' all the way through the process.
