Poolewood Machinery Ltd

Poolewood is a long established name in the woodworking trade. It has evolved over the years from a manufacturer of lathes and machinery importer, a retailer and now an online business.

The Poolewood lathes and bandsaws work on, and their robust nature means many are still fully operational today. We can no longer support these machines as there is little demand however, in relation to the Euro Lathe range we may be able to provide some assistance in sourcing spares etc. We can still provide first class bandsaw blades.

Family Run
Today Poolewood Machinery Ltd is a family run business and our mission is to provide a high quality service to our customers at competitive rates. We really do care and the plan is to continue to trade Poolewood and see how it can develop over the next few years, broadening our market offering.

With ever increasing focus on the dangers of dust created from machinery, we have a dedicated section on dust extraction, from M Class vacuums for construction site hand tools to static work shop solutions. We also have a large selection of accessories to create the flexible workshop installation.

Charnwood, Fox, Scheppach, Robert Sorby, Tormek, Jet, Femi, SIP are just a selection of the top brand woodworking machinery, tools and machines and we supply for wood turners, builders, workshops, carpenters joiners, both the professional and the hobby market. We sell table saws, bandsaws, lathes and chucks, spindle moulders, planer thicknessers, router tables sharpeners and grinders, including the ProEdge by Robert Sorby, pillar drills, morticers and a full range of dust extractors and accessories for customising your dust extraction system.

For Farm and Garden we have available log splitters, log saws, shredders, rotary sieves generators, water pumps, pressure washers. For the builder we have table saws, mitre saws, plunge saws we have plaster/concrete paddle mixers, dry wall sanders as well as metal cutting bandsaws, grinders etc. Moving to the workshop we supply heaters, welders, generators, plasma inverters, chargers, compressors, metal cutting saws etc. as well as furniture, including oak benches, work stands and work stations. This includes the fantastic Swedish manufactured Sjobergs.

We also have a section dedicated to picture framers where you will find mitre trimmers, framing kits, tab guns and tabs.
