Grundy’s Ironmongers Ltd of Kirkham in Lancashire have been looking after the Fylde Coast’s requirements in ironmongery, gardening equipment, tools and housewares for the past 70 years.

But directors Steve Lilley and his mother, Joan, pride themselves on much more than merely selling just about everything in the business – they also offer a service of advice based on a lifetime of experience in the trade.

And with plenty of full and part-time staff on hand, there’s never any shortage of personnel to offer that personal touch, although the store is set up for self service if that is what the customer prefers.

Steve has literally been in the business all his life; his parents took over Grundy’s in 1953 and he was born on the Cleveleys premises in a room which later became a stock room.

The shop sells literally thousands of lines, which means that their reputation of being able to supply almost anything is completely true.

In November 2004 Grundy's took over the long established business of John Ward & Son in Kirkham. They are now continuing to offer a high quality service to the local community.

Remember, if you can't find it at Grundy's, you won't be able to get it anywhere!
